The design of the earrings embeds the meaning of the symbols alpha and omega in the bible. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end” (Revelation 12:13). Being the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet, it is symbolic of God’s encompassing nature and omnipresence in our lives. There was never a beginning or an end but rather, always is, always has and always will be.
Paralleled to our own lives as finite beings under his grace, we experience beginnings and ends. The design of this piece is to hopefully serve as a reminder to the wearer of what matters most as we navigate through life. To remember God’s eternal guidance and shelter especially through hardship and temptation for it is “Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children” (Revelation 21:7).
