Ring Sizing

Please be aware that there are generally two different metrics for measuring ring size; centre and leading edge. The centre measurement is the most commonly used which takes a measurement of the ring size in the middle/centre of the ring. The leading edge measurement takes the size of the edge of the ring as it is on the ring size mandrel. 

All ring sizes at Revelation Jewellery are centre measurements.

When measuring your ring size, please be aware of:

1. The width of the ring 
Comparing two rings of the same size, the wider ring will feel more snug as the extra width will make it tighter. 

2. The temperature
Our hands have a tendency to swell a little bit more when it is hot/humid, so please be mindful of this when taking a ring measurement. 

To take a measurement of ring size at home, you can use a piece of non-stretchable string to measure the circumference of your finger and convert it into your ring size using the ring size chart. However, to gain a more accurate measurement, it is best to visit a jeweller and have them take a measurement for you.
